Filme am Strom: Open-air Screening direkt an der Donau<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Die Donau auf der Leinwand, und gleich dahinter als Kulisse:<\/p>\n

Junge Wiener K\u00fcnstlerInnen zeigen am 11.8.2011 exklusiv Resultate ihrer filmischen Besch\u00e4ftigungen mit der Donau.<\/p>\n

Ihre Projektionen sind inspiriert vom 2857 km-langen Verlauf des Stromes, der vom Schwarzwald bis zum Schwarzen Meer zehn L\u00e4nder verbindet, und so auch Wien durchquert.<\/p>\n

Dabei setzen die K\u00fcnstlerInnen auf spezielle Produktionsmethoden:<\/p>\n

Denn \u201efilmisch\u201c bedeutet in diesem Fall tats\u00e4chlich die Auseinandersetzung mit (analogem) Film, welcher aufgrund seiner Materialit\u00e4t andere Gestaltungsm\u00f6glichkeiten als digitales Video erm\u00f6glicht.<\/span><\/p>\n

Das Setting f\u00fcr das Screening stellt der Donauraum selbst dar:<\/p>\n

Veranstaltungsort ist das Flussufer am Rande des 20. Wiener Gemeindebezirks.<\/p>\n

In diesem au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Ambiente werden bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit die Werke gezeigt. Die Brigittenauer Uferpromenade verwandelt sich in ein Kino der besonderen Art.<\/span>
