This lecture brings exploratory ideas for hybrid film \/ digital productions. <\/strong>We will focus on understanding of optical printing<\/strong>, direct<\/strong> printing<\/strong> and other DIY techniques<\/strong> for the expressions and aesthetics of experimental work.<\/p>\n

Madi Piller<\/strong> is a filmmaker, animator, programmer, and independent curator currently living and working in Toronto<\/strong>, Canada.
\nHer abstract, non-representational, and poetic images are drawn from film explorations in Super 8, 16mm and 35mm, as well as photography and video. The resulting imagery is strongly influenced by diverse animation techniques and styles. Her studio PIX FILM<\/strong> in Toronto is a micro cinema, gallery, event space, and working studio. www.madipiller.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
